It is with great pride that we are organizing this year's first edition of the International Marathon of Rabat under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This first edition under the banner of 'Tolerance' will be attended by national and international athletes who will share their passion for athletics to access a coveted place on the podium in one of three events scheduled: Marathon, Half-marathon and 10K run.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the imperial city of Rabat will fulfill by architectural, quality of life and infrastructure all visitors and athletes participating in this unprecedented event in the capital of the Kingdom. This will also be the opportunity for everyone to work harder to better prepare for the World Championships in Athletics in 2015 Beijing.

Thanks to the involvement and support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee of Morocco, of the Wilaya, the city hall of Rabat, sponsors and partners, the media, all the athletes and the public, this first edition of the International Marathon of Rabat will, we are sure, a sporting event must for all lovers of Marathon and Morocco lovers worldwide.
